Admin and SSLC Free SSLC Appoint for Kerala Students

Mangaluru: Dakshina Kannada District Administration and the Public Teaching Department will not leave the stone missed for SSLC candidates from near the Kerala border, so that their exams are bother.
Even though there was enough arrangement in place last year, there were some confusion in several places.
Administration has made transportation facilities for ferry students to their school.
But this year, the candidate’s parents were given full responsibility for their transportation.
Meanwhile, school authorities and academics have asked the district government to prepare a comprehensive plan for SSLC students from the Karnataka-Kerala border.
Dakshina Kannada District Administration has also made a negative RT-PCR test report for entering the district, following Delta variant detection from Covid-19 in Kerala.

Malleswamy, DDPI, said that at this time, there were around 430 SSLC candidates registered from Kerala, and they would take the exam at Mangaluru.
“Last year, the district government had provided their transportation.
According to our current plan, the candidate’s parents must take and drop their wards.
Most of them live near the exam centers,” the officer said.
Asked whether the receipt card was sufficient to cross the Karnataka border too, Malleswamy said that they would discuss this issue at the meeting on July 3 will be attended by officers from the police, KSRTC and related departments.
An official from Beo South, has 101 Kerala students within its limits, say the majority of SSLC candidates write exams in the centers near the talapady border.
“We don’t think there will be a problem for them to travel,” officially added.
Boundary Puttu has 72 SSLC candidates from Kerala.
Teachers and parents have been given the responsibility to bring candidates to the center.
“Last year, there were only 12 centers, while it doubled this year.
Some centers are close to the Kerala-Karnataka border for the convenience of Kerala students,” said Lokesh C, Beo, Puture.
Kasaragod District Panchayat Standing Committee Chairman Harshad Vorkady requested Dakshina Kannada officials to come up with a concrete plan, so students did not feel uncomfortable.
“Students have been stressed because of the delay in the test done.
Don’t add to their misery,” he said.
