Pune: Collector of the Rajesh Deshmukh District on Tuesday issued an assembly of limiting five or more of the 50 popular tourist attractions, including those in Lonavla, to contain the spread of Covid 19.
The command issued based on part 144 CRPC will limit the movement of people in place -The tours in Maval, Mulshi, Haveli, Ambegaon, Junnar, Bhor and Velha Tehsils in the district.
Popular tourist destinations such as Bhushi Dam near Lonavala, Lavasa, Dam, Panghar, Khadakwasla Dam, and Fortresses, including Sinhagad, Shivnelgi, Torna and Lohgad, will be outdoor for tourists for now.
“Assembly five or more are not permitted in these places.
Actions will be taken against violators in accordance with the part 144 CRPC and the relevant parts of the epidemic law, 1897,” Deshmukh, Pune District collector, said.
People visit these places in large quantities, especially in winter and monsoons.
