Bokaro: District administration on Saturday initiated the process of obtaining 25 hectares of land from Bokaro Steel Plant (BSL) to establish medical colleges.
On August 6, TOI reported how the land was delayed even after the district government identified TI 2016-17 and several requests were made by BSL to take over.
After identifying the land, the administration sent a proposal to BSL, which also agreed to submit after obtaining approval from the parent company of Indian Steel Authority (sailing) and the Ministry of Steel Union in 2019.
Chas Circle Officer Dilip, said Kumar, “in the direction of Bokaro DC Kuldeep Chaudhary, The land acquisition process has begun.
This land is located in a prime location along the NH-33 (Dhanbad-Bokaro-Ranchi Stretch), close to Ranvijay College under the Sector-12 police station area.
“In the past half a year, BSL has sent three Demand, first on October 14, 2019, then on May 9, 2020 and on July 25, 2021 again, to the district government to take over the land.
