Agra: The Mathura government has denied permission to Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha for “Aarti” from Lord Krishna at the Shahi Idgah Mosque on Saturday.
Following the rejection, the right Wing group announced it would launch the “referendum” for the construction of Krishna Janambhomi’s temple from January 26, in Kurukshetra, the land where Krishna gave ‘Gita Gyan’ to Arjun.
This is the second time in less than two weeks that the administration has stopped Mahasabha to advance with their program at Idgah Shahi.
Clothing has announced it will install Krishna’s idol in Shahi Idgah on December 6 in a letter issued for the organization’s national president, Rajyashree Chaudhuri, District Administration said the permit has not been granted “for the purposes of the law and order and a peaceful city atmosphere”.
Section 144, prohibits public meetings, applies in cities since November 24 and will continue until January 21.
Chaudhuri said, “Previously, they (administration) refused permission which quoted communal harmony in the city.
This time, they said it would violate Covid norms.
This is the reason for being paralyzed.”
