New Delhi: India on Tuesday managed to test the naval variant of the sophisticated supersonic cruise cruise missiles from the destroyers of the Stealth missiles from the Indian Navy.
Organization of Research and Defense Development (Drdo) said the missile reached the designated target “exactly”.
“The sea span into the sea to the sea of Brahmos Supersonic Cruise Missile was tested from INS Visakhapatnam today.
Missile crashed the targeted target,” Drdo Tweeted.
Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said the success of the missile launch confirmed the robustness of India’s “readiness” of India.
“The absence of readiness of the @indiannavy’s mission was reconfirmed today after the success of the continued version of the launch of the Brahmos missile from Ins Vishakhapatnam today.
I congratulate the extraordinary team of @indiannavy @Drdo_india & @brahmosmissile,” Singh Tweet, “Brahmos Aerospace, company Indian-Russian joint ventures, produce supersonic roaming missiles that can be launched from submarines, ships, airplanes, or from land platforms.
