Madurai: District administration in Tamil Nadu has begun to issue advisors asking for cracker shops to avoid selling fireworks that have been banned by the Supreme Court and the Tamil Nadu government.

Kanyakumari District Administration has asked for temporary cracker shops to avoid selling fireworks in other stores or other items with fireworks in temporary stores.

Staff must avoid smoking or flammable materials and no smoking boards and ensure that no one smokes close to crackers shops.
Candles, oil lights or cigarette lighter lighting or matchboxes during power shutdown should be avoided.
Instead the torches and battery-powered lights must be available in the minimum amount.
The power supply to the cracker shops must be cut off at the end of the day.
Saving paint, flammable oil and paper should be avoided in stores or collected close to shops.
Smaller sales of fireworks by opening thread seals must be avoided.
Children should not be involved in the sale of fireworks.
Fireworks should not be sold outside the place where permanent licenses and while they are obtained to sell fireworks.
Shops should not have a long counter made of palm leaves.
Sales of fireworks without licenses will attract strict penalties.
Tirunelveli District Administration has asked people to avoid exploding crackers who make loud sounds.
Residents and villagers must avoid fireworks in nearby hospitals, places of worship and other places where silence must be maintained.
Fireworks should not be used near huts and places that have flammable materials.
