Madurai: District administration in Tamil Nadu has begun to issue advisors asking for cracker shops to avoid selling fireworks that have been banned by the Supreme Court and the Tamil Nadu government.

Children should not be involved in the sale of fireworks.
Fireworks should not be sold outside the place where permanent licenses and while they are obtained to sell fireworks.
Shops should not have a long counter made of palm leaves.
Sales of fireworks without licenses will attract strict penalties.
Tirunelveli District Administration has asked people to avoid exploding crackers who make loud sounds.
Residents and villagers must avoid fireworks in nearby hospitals, places of worship and other places where silence must be maintained.
Fireworks should not be used near huts and places that have flammable materials.
