Chennai: More than 700 advocates, supporting Madras Transfer of the Head of the Sanjib Banerjee High Court to Meghalaya, has signed and sent a memorandum to CJI NV Ramana looking for action against who they were described as “Fringe Group” which opposed the APEX Collegium court decision for Trabsfer Justice Banerjee.
A total of 754 advocates have signed a memorandum that seeks actions against a group of ‘Fringe’ called anxious advocate, including 32 appointed as a senior, because it allegedly spoil ‘mudsling’ to justice.
Memorandum states that the Fringe Group does not oppose the policy of transferring judges but only opposes from a certain judge for unknown reasons.
“It is unfortunate that the advocate rental group continues to create such a situation, which has created a bad opinion about all judges among the people.”
