Mumbai: Police Mumbai has registered allegations of rape and harassment of seven people, including two lawyers and five others, in the complaint of a 35-year-old woman advocating who alleged her sexually attacked under the accusation.
On the grounds of giving a better salary at their law firm, an official said on Monday.
In a statement to the police, the woman alleged that she was promised by Rs 1.50 lakh monthly salary by the main defendant, who was a lawyer, in his company in South Mumbai.
The main accusation promised to give him a letterhead and the promise of meeting and raped him in the office, the officials of the Drive Marine police station said quoting the FIR registered on Saturday.
He claimed that other lawyers and five ordinary staff members persecuted themselves in the office, he said.
The case was registered against two lawyers and five staff members underneath 376 (rape), 380 (the theft at home), 385 (extortion), 120-B (criminal conspiracy), and 354 (criminal power attacks to women with the intention of making angry His politeness) from the Indian Criminal Code (IPC), the official said.
No arrest was made so far, he said, adding that the police verified the allegations and would take the right action.
