KABUL: A team of Afghan intelligence agents poured around 3,000 liters of liquor into the canal in Kabul, said the country’s spy agency on Sunday, when the new Taliban authority took action against alcohol sales.
The video recording released by the Directorate General of Intelligence (GDI) shows his agents pouring alcohol stored in barrels into the canal after winning him during the attack in the capital.
“Muslims must seriously distance themselves from making and providing alcohol,” said an intelligence official in the recording of agents posted on Twitter on Sunday.
