Afghan national team footballer died in the fall of the US aircraft at Kabul airport on Monday, the Afghan news agency Ariana said on Thursday.
The crowd of people who tried to escape from Afghanistan had packed the airport because the Taliban guerrillas swept power on Sundays, many saw trying to take a moving plane.
Ariana said Zaki Anwari fell from the USAF Boeing C-17 and that death was confirmed by the Directorate General of Sports.
