But because of the deteriorating conditions in their homeland, they want to move from their country and Join the campus hostel.
Even though we have agreed to their requests to come to campus as a special case, we are not sure how late for them to pursue their dreams …
“Eleven Afghan students were registered in the Masters program at the Institute, and two had turned on the campus.
“Because these students are sponsored by the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), their Mumbai office works with the Indian Embassy in Kabul to publish a visa,” said an IIT-B official.
Dean (Alumni and International Relations at IIT-Delhi), Naveen Garg, said they had received a similar request from students.
“This institution has made provisions for these students to return to campus.
But a lot depends on the bureaucratic obstacles they might face now.

Of the 17 Afghan students, not on the current campus, and three have indicated that they will be coming soon, the official said.
Administration at the University of Jawaharlal Nehru (JNU), New Delhi, also saw requests made by Afghan students.
A government official said someone had to wait and witness a developing situation in Afghanistan.
