New Delhi: India will host the NSA level conference, Delhi Regional Security dialogue, in Afghanistan on November 10, the government confirmed on Friday.
While the formal response to Indian invitations is still awaited from China and Pakistan, the official source says it has “incredible response” for Indian initiatives with Russia, Iran and for the first time all Central Asian countries, including those who are not shared goods with Afghanistan, confirmation of participation .
Official sources also slam Pakistan for indicating it will not attend the in-person conference which will be chaired by the NSA Ajit Doval and said recent comments by Islamabad, including those by Pakistan NSA Moeed Yusuf where he described India as a spoiler.
It was an effort that failed to suspend the attention of his destructive role in Afghanistan.
“Pakistan has indicated through the media that it will not be present.
Pakistan’s decision is very unfortunate, but it is not surprising.
This reflects his mindset to see Afghanistan as his protectorate,” said the government’s source about the rejection of Islamabad to participate, adding Pakistan has not attended a previous format meeting.
NSA participation Nikolay Patrush Russia is a special significance for India because of the main role of Moscow in formulating international responses on situations in Afghanistan.
The government saw a high-level participation of “enthusiastically” at the conference, which was first reported by TOI on October 16, as a manifestation of its importance inherent in the role of India in regional efforts to promote peace and security in Afghanistan.
China even though it’s silent about this problem and it seems impossible at this stage that it will even join the conference.
Pakistan’s reluctance to participate in the conference is also not signed for Indian proposals to provide 50,000 wheat to Afghanistan through land routes through the Gagah-Attari border.
Islamabad has not resulted in a proposal because it remains interested in denying any role or any profile in Afghanistan.
