KABUL: The former Afghan women prosecutor hiding, afraid of retaliation from those who had been imprisoned after their judgment and have now been released.

A female judge said that he had been repeatedly called by an unknown number after the Taliban took over the country, Khaama’s press news agency reported.
Many female judges who can escape from Afghanistan are now abroad, but hundreds of female judges are still hiding in this country.
Women prosecutors usually handle cases of violations of women’s rights, torture, rape, murder, and family harassment.
Together with other female employees in Afghanistan, women’s prosecutors have also been in their homes and have been told not to go to their work, Khaama’s press news agency reported.
