New Delhi: Mullah Mohammad Hassan Akhund has been appointed as Prime Minister of Acting in a new government in Afghanistan, Taliban spokesman announced on Tuesday.
Overcoming a press conference, spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid said that the Taliban Co-Founder Abdul Ghani Baradar will be the deputy prime minister.
“Sarajuddin Haqqani was appointed by the Minister of Home Affairs.
Amir Khan Muttaqi has been appointed as foreign minister.
Abas Stanikzai will become the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs in the New Afghan Government,” Mujahid said.
Mullah Hasan Akhund led the Taliban government in Kabul during the last years of his government.
