Afghanistan Taliban said it saw China as a ‘friend’, promised not to accommodate Uyghur militants from Xinjiang: Reports

Beijing: Taliban said it sees China as a “friend” Afghanistan and convinced Beijing that it will not hold Uyghur Islamic militants from the vulnerable Xinjiang Province, which is a great concern for the media government, according to a media report.
Comments came when the Taliban made a territorial increase in a torn country war amid the withdrawal of US troops.
China has evacuated 210 of its citizens from Afghanistan with rental flights this week.
Beijing is worried that under the Taliban government, Afghanistan will be a hub for the East Turkistan Islamic Movement (ETIM), separatist clothing that is in harmony with Al-Qaeda who conducts a rebellion in Xinjiang.
Xinjiang rich resources have an 8 km border with Afghanistan.
Making Chinese concerns, Taliban spokesman Suhail Shaheen said they saw China as a “friend” to Afghanistan and hoped to talk to Beijing about investing in reconstruction work “as soon as possible”.
Suhail also said the Taliban would no longer allow Uyghur Chinese separatist fighters from Xinjiang, some of which were previously looking for protection in Afghanistan, to enter the country.
The Taliban will also prevent al-Qaida or other terrorist groups operating there, he said.
“We have been to China many times and we have good relations with them,” Suhail told Hong Kong to South China in the morning, considering several meetings held by China in the past for the Taliban delegation.
“China is a friendly country and we welcome it to reconstruction and develop Afghanistan,” he added that “if (China) has an investment, of course, we will ensure their safety,” Shaheen said.
Very critical of the US.
Moving to attract his troops without stabilizing the peace process in Afghanistan, China this week has asked the Allied Allies of Pakistan to increase cooperation to contain security risks in a foreign country after withdrawal of foreign troops after withdrawal.
“(China and Pakistan) need to maintain the territorial peace together.
Problems in Afghanistan are practical challenges owned by China and Pakistan,” especially the expansion of international and regional terrorism, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said on Tuesday that handled the 70th anniversary meeting of diplomatic relations with Pakistan.
While the withdrawal and resurrection of the Taliban forces and the rise of Taliban must strategically benefit China when the Taliban shared close relations with Pakistan, both Islamabad and Beijing worried when they faced threats from Islamic militant groups which were part of Al-Qaida and Taliban.
China has emerged large-scale investments in Afghanistan because this country has copper reserves, coal, iron, gas, cobal, gas, gold, lithium, and the largest thorium in the world, worth more than US $ one trillion.
In 2011, China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) won an offer of US $ 400 million to drill three oil fields for 25 years, containing around 87 million barrels of oil.
Chinese companies have also obtained the right to mine copper at MES Aynak in Logar Province, according to postal reports.
But observers say China will remain very careful and worried about the Taliban who gave her promise.
“Whatever Benign language used by the Taliban, China is still very concerned about the security situation there,” Andrew Small, a senior transatlantic counterpart with the Asian Marshall Fund program told The Post.
He said China’s biggest concern in dealing with the Taliban was always like it was protected by a separatist Uyghur.
China’s hard action in Xinjiang, the observer said, it had been annoying hatred among the original Uyghur Muslims in Xinjiang.
The US, EU and international human rights organizations accuse Beijing to conduct genocide in the province.
The 12th report of analytical support and the UN sanctions monitoring team last month confirmed the existence of Ethim militants in Afghanistan.
“The East Turkish Islamic Movement (ETIM) consists of several hundred members, which is located mainly in Badakhshan and the neighboring province of Afghanistan,” said a report to the UN Security Council.
The report said that a large number of al-Qaeda fighters and other foreign extremist elements were aligned with the Taliban located in various parts of Afghanistan.
