KABUL: The imposition of various steps of regulations to tighten media freedom in this country by the Taliban is the cause of concern for rights rights groups.
‘The Ministry of Information and Culture and Culture’ formed by the Taliban has imposed a series of regulations in an effort to ban almost all critical reporting on Taliban, Human Rights Watch information.

Last month, the International Federation of Journalists (IFJ) has expressed concern for the safety of journalists in Afghanistan and slams the Taliban to suppress media freedom in the country.
Because the rules of the Taliban are compacted in the country, at least 153 media outlets must close the increase in threats to journalists while female media employees have been banned from work completely.
In addition, more than 7,000 journalists have been detained by the Taliban.
Some Afghan journalists have left the country or hid after the takeover of the country’s clothing.
Meanwhile, Gossman said that the rules were proof that the Taliban did not want to face public supervision.

“The foreign government must send a message that the treatment of Taliban media will remain a core concern for future relationships.”
