He threw Javelin to a distance of 87.58m to choose a gold medal at the Tokyo Olympics.
“The Athletic Federation of the Indian Planning Committee has decided to promote Javelin throwing and will hold competitions every year throughout the country on August 7 when Neeraj Chopra won gold in Tokyo today,” said Bhanot in a criminal program organized by Neeraj Chopra by AFI.

When I return to India, I realized that I had done something worthy of people,” he added.
This year the match was held with a covid-19-induced limitation and all events were held behind closed doors.
About 11,000 athletes from more than 200 countries competed at the Tokyo Olympics.
India recorded the best Olympic results with seven medals (one gold, two silver, and four bronze).
