Coimbatore: City Corporation has initiated steps to take four open land of RS 10 reserves (OSR) which is worth around Hospital 10 Crore in the West Zone Jalan Thonbamuthur, 10 cents in Veeperalam, 18 cents intended for Park and 27 cents granted for school in Veeperalam , tell the public that they are included in the Civic body.
“The land of 10 cents in Veergeram is close to the commercial road in the commercial area.
Seven shops were built there and they were rented out.
The restaurant functions on land,” said an official.
“We plan to send notifications to encroachment and take land.” S Thiyagarajan activist has told the corporate authority about encroachment in Vimal Nagar.
He urged city planning officials in all five zones to identify the land and took it.
“If not, there is a high probability that the land will be sold to innocent people.
The corporation already has a list of land OSR and its current status.”
