Afoot’s plan to link EPE and Yamuna Expressway

Noida: The plan is being carried out to connect the East Peripheral and Yamuna Expressway freeway through a road link to increase connectivity with the upcoming Noida International Airport, officials said on Tuesday.
Efforts are also ongoing to provide connectivity between airports and integrated industrial cities, multimodal transportation hubs and logistics centers in Greater Noida, they said.
The Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (Gnida) said the Delhi-Mumbai industrial corridor and the integrated center industry Greater Noida Limited (DMIC-IITGNL) has prepared plans for these projects, which are ready to be implemented immediately.
“Three of these projects (city, transportation hub and logistics hub) will be connected not only to various parts of the country but also to the world through noida airport.
Blueprint has been prepared to connect these three projects with this noida airport.
These three projects will be connected to each other, “Gnida said in a statement.
It is said that two routes have been advised to connect them to the airport.
The first route will be connected via GT road with a logistical hub.
For this, about 2.5 km the road will be widened on Jalan GT near the logistics center.
It has been proposed to make six lines from two existing lines, authority said.
Underpass will also be built near the University of Shiv Nadar which connects the GT road, so the vehicle from the logistical hub can reach the Yamuna freeway from Beel Akbarpur Interchange to the Eastern Peripheral Expressway, he said.
Interchange will be built near Dankaur to connect East Peripherals and Yamuna’s freeway.
From there, the vehicle will be able to go to Noida airport, he said.
“Another way of the transportation center is a path of 130 meters from SANSA Interchange through Eastern Peripheral and Yamuna Expressway, the vehicle will be able to reach the airport noida.
Wherever there is a need, the road will be further repaired,” Gnida.
said.
CEO of Gnida Narendra Bhooshan said five large companies had come up with investments in integrated cities while several more prepared with proposals.
“The DPR from the Multimodal Transportation and Logistics Hub has been sent to the government.
Immediately after approval is received, their work tenders will also float and work will begin.
The target is to develop transportation and logistics hubs in the next three years.
This will change the surrounding area scenario.
“Bhooshan said.
Integrated municipalities have been developed by the DMIC Integrated Township Township Greater Noida Limited, the larger DMIC joint venture and Noida Authority, in an area of around 750 hectares, he said.
Land eight villages – Dadri, Junpat, Chitehra, Kerehera, Palla, Pali, Bodaki, and Thapkheda – acquired for the proposed multi-capital transportation caps and multi-capital logistics center near the Bodaki in Greater Noida, he said.
“The two projects will be developed on a 478 hectare land.
Railway terminals, local bus stands and between countries and Metro Connectivity will be developed under the multi-capital transportation hub,” Gnida said.
“The train has also given its approval and most of the trains to the east will run from here.
This will reduce the train pressure in Delhi, New Delhi and Anand Vihar terminal and will eliminate the dependence of Gautam Buddh Nagar, Bulandshahr, Aligarh, Ghaziabad district at the station The train in Delhi, “he said.
The existing Metro Noida-Greater Noida route will also be extended to multimodal transportation hub while local buses will also be run from transportation hubs, he added.
