Ahmedabad: The alertness of Sri Lankan institutions after two large drug seizures in the Arabian sea, including 600 kg of heroin seizures on September 1 and 290 kg of heroin seizures in August, forcing drug sellers to keep the boat with 30 kg mid-sea heroin.
Peddler Medication – Two Iran Imam Bakhsh and Khan Sahab and Ghulam from Pakistan – reportedly notified seven members of the Iranian crew not to move towards Sri Lanka because there were several problems.
“A man named Ali Mohammed should take the heroin of seven members of this crew at sea somewhere near Kochi.
He is equipped with a boat with a flag of Sri Lanka and after receiving medicines, he will go to Sri Lanka,” said an ATS officer.
The officer said that the Sri Lankan Navy would open fire if the man did not have a Sri Lanka flag.
“Even after this arrangement, they were afraid that Ali Mohammed will also be arrested by Sri Lanka’s agent because they were alert after two big seizures,” the officer said.
“Seven crew members were told to share their latitude and longitude with Ali Mohammed when they reached Kochi.
After that, Ali Mohammed should have reached there and received medicines,” he said.
ATS officers said that seven crew members were told to remain until the order further.
“They tried to get a safe room at Maharashtra and Gujarat to land.
Then, the drug should be sent to Punjab.
But before that ATS knew about the ship and seven crew members were arrested in sea operations along with Indian coast guards,” he said.
Now, the police investigated the existence of Ali Mohammed and the three men were known as Imam Bakhsh, Khan Sahab and Ghulam who sent drugs to Sri Lanka.
