Rajkot: A 60-year-old farmer ends his life who is afraid of losing plants at his home in Gadhad Village in Muli Taluka from Surendranagar on Wednesday night.
Parmar Gumansinh who had died was found depending on his house by his family member, who later told the police.
According to the police, the family who died told them that Parmar had sowed cotton on his land a few days ago in the hope of a good rain spell.
“But there was no rain in the area and he was worried that the plants might fail.
So, he took extreme steps,” said a muli, investigating officers from the Muli Police Station.
