After 15 years, sector 52 to get its own market

Gurgaon: Haryana Shahari Vikas Pradhikaran (HSVP) plans to develop a market complex in sector 52.
This sector, launched about 15 years ago, did not have the market and residents rely on the market 40 and 46 for their daily needs.
, said officials.
HSVP has allocated around 3,215 hectares in this sector layout plan for market development.
Now, HSVP along with the City Department and State Planning (DTCP) has prepared a plan to develop shopping centers and markets.
As planned, the market will have 13 three-story sco (shop-cum-office), 16 stores, 42 booths and 12 kiosks.
In addition, the market will have two general public toilets.
Along with this around 2 acres it has been provided for parking.
“Parking is a major problem on the market so we have planned in a way that doesn’t face problems in parking and shop owners won’t lose customers because of parking constraints,” said an HSVP official added that following a pandemic, preference for the HSVP market above the mall had increased.
The market layout plan has been sent to Panchkula for approval from the main administrator.
After approval, market development will begin and HSVP will also start auctioning land for SCO and shops.
Pradeep Bohra, President of Rwa Pocket-B, said that around 500 families have begun to live in this sector and many more houses are being built.
