After 2 months, booking on co-Win open back for the 2nd photo shoot

Gurgaon: The Gurgaon Health Department reopens the appointment online for the second vaccine dose through the Co-Win portal on Friday.
Since mid-June, the city only carries out a walk-in session on government sites.
Now, the recipient will be able to order slots in the second centers of Jab using the portal.
However, the walk-in facility, for the first and second dose will still be available on all sites.
The Ministry of Health first opened the Co-Win portal for recipient registration on March 30.
They were able to order slots from April 1 and so on.
Then in June, the process was stopped and only offline sessions were available on government sites.
This is done to ensure that people who do not have access to the internet and cellphones can get slots, officials said.
“Now, we have a slot for online and offline recipients.
We have decided to promise online meeting because the majority of the second dose is due and people who have access to the internet and the portal can get an appointment easily.
We strive to facilitate the process,” Yadav said.
Meanwhile, Gurgaon will not give Covaxin’s first dose at the government location from Saturday due to lack of supply.
This will only focus on the second dose of vaccines.
“At present, this district has 2,500 covaxin doses and we only focus on the second dose.
On government sites, we do not provide the first dose.
We encourage people to get the second dose in time.

To record all school staff throughout the city, the Ministry of Health has identified 4,167 people who have not received their vaccines.
In accordance with data, a total of 18.011 people were employed in 359 schools in Gurgaon.
The health department has also planned to establish 14 special centers in schools throughout the city on Saturday.
Each site will have a covishield dose for 50 first doses and 50 seconds.
A total of 936 people got the first Jab and 194 they received their second dose in 19 of this special session on Friday.
On Saturday, the city will have 45 additional government session sites for vaccination.
From them, 39 sites will provide a dose of covishield, while Covaxin will be given on five sites.
Sputnik v will be given to the recipient on one site.
A total of 14,295 people in the 18-44 age group were vaccinated on Friday.
In the 45-plus category, 2,289 people take photos.
A total of 164 health care staff and 764 frontline workers also received their dose.
Overall, 17,512 shots were given.
On Friday, a total of 6,771 doses were given at the location of the government session, while 10,741 shots were given in private centers.
As many as the first dose and 9,009 second dose were given to the recipient in the city on Friday.
