Nagpur: The Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) is all set to the Khamla Road stretch asphalt from Sawarkar Nagar Square (also known as Orange City City Square) to the Square Ajni.
The tender process has kicked.
A large number of people use the road every day.
This has not been bound for the past 20 years.
The road is in a bad condition with several holes and a scale surface layer.
Toi on October 15 has reported that the road has been abandoned not only from the Concrete Road Concrete-i project phase but also from the recent approval was given for Asphalting 17 main roads.
Taking knowing the report, the Civic body has published a tender RS1.41 Crore on October 18 for the road asphalt.
Tender will open on November 15.
Contractors will be given 45 days to complete the project from the date of issuing work orders.
Tender was issued before seeking administrative approval from the permanent committee.
The agreement was obtained on Friday.
The road is part of the Concrete Road Concrete-i project phase implementing in June 2011.
But it was never converted.

In February 2019, the contractor came out of the project.
