After 30 years of service, Param beer ‘mistrust’ of Mumbai Police

Param Bir Singh felt pain to lead Mumbai police at the end of his career.
However, now he has declared distrust of the same strength, which he served more than three decades, after he realized that subject to the agreement of the Supreme Court, he could be captured at all times in the case of extortion.
In fact, even SC was surprised when Singh proposed that he had no confidence in Maharashtra police and the cases registered with him were transferred to another country.
An IPS officer from the batch 1988, Singh was able to secure all Prem tasks, including the Police Commissioner Thane and Director General of the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB), but landed in trouble due to colorful power on several occasions.
When he wrote a letter to the chairman of the Minister of Uddhav Thackeray about the alleged allegations of corruption towards the Minister of Home Anil Deshmukh minister, he portrayed himself as a blower whistle.
But at that time Singh had been ordered for extortion in at least five cases.
Following the SINGH letter, the state government established a Commission under the Demand Commission acting to investigate corruption allegations.
Singh told the commission that he would not want to be crossed or rolled on the contents of his letter.
As soon as Singh resigned from the process, the Cop Sachin Waze was dismissed, once a trusted aide, too, was conveyed that there was no Deshmukh or his personal staff who had demanded money from him.
Given the statement of Singh and Waze’s deposition, the entire practice of investigating into allegations of corruption against Deshmukh seemed futile.
Need a strategy to deal with illegal parking, the arrest of traffic police inspectors in South Mumbai must be a wake-up call for all Mumbai traffic police.
Traffic Police Inspector Allegedly demanded RS 1,500 per bus to allow invalid parking in a busy area.
The bus owner who was harmed approached ACB, which put a trap and arrested him.
During his office search, ACB found more than a dozen envelopes containing a total of 4.8 lakh Rs.
Unauthorized parking has become a rule than an exception, because of the lack of supervision at all levels.
It is not illegal parking rampant throughout the city and such places were repaired, in fact, they had been taken to the notice of the authorities concerned, but actions were very rarely taken.
A former IPS officer said it was time for a shared strategy compiled by Mumbai Police Commissioner and Transportation Commissioner to overcome threats.
