After a 2-week gap, 1 more black mushroom cases in GZB

Ghaziabad’s kasing: Mucormycosis (black mushroom) continues to be reported in Ghaziabad.
That number rose to 97 with the detection of one more case on Monday.
According to health officials, with Covid cases in the decline, there is also a slowdown in black mushroom cases.

Sunil Tyagi said a black mushroom patient was accepted at a personal clinic in Ghaziabad after about two weeks.
The patient is a 42-year-old man and recognizes a hard clinic after Covid infection.
In the past two months, 10 black mushroom patients from the total (97) have died.
At present, there are 24 active black mushroom patients in the district, where seven undergoing hospital treatment.
Of these, three patients were recognized at Max Hospital, two of them were in a harsh hospital and Yashoda.
Apart from this, 17 patients were being treated through OPDs.
Meanwhile, 63 patients had recovered, Dr.
Tyagi added.
Dr.
Tyagi told me about 24 patients having injected amphotericin B from the CMO office every day.
“Cheaper injection is also supplied now.
A total of 75 injections are accepted from the government on Sunday and 50 on Monday,” he added.
The Senior Surgeon Dr.
Bp Tyagi, who had treats around 60 black mushroom patients at Harsh En, said he was now getting patients whose jaw was affected.
