Kolkata: The state on Tuesday appointed City College Financial Economic Assistant Professor Siddhartha Majumdar as Chair of the West Bengal Central School Service Commission.
He replaced Subha Sankar Sarkar.
The Calcutta High Court on Monday finched the Chairperson, the West Bengal Central School Service Commission, Rs 20,000, asked him to pay for his own pocket and asked the government of Bengal to check whether he was suitable to stay at the post.
The decision was made after a meeting in the Ministry of Education after the HC’s order said, “I really doubt about the quality of people who are sunbathing with the position of chairman after reading the order and it is for the Western government department of Bengal to see whether such a chairman can continue as Chairman of WBCSSC or Not.
“HC has asked the Ministry of Education to” provide interest in this order “asking copies of orders to be sent to the Secretary of the Main Secretary and Secretary of State Education on January 14.
Even before the deadline ended, the State School Education Department issued a notification on Tuesday making Majumdar members of the WBCSSC which will also act as the chairman with direct effects.
Majumdar said, “I have received intimacy.
I want to first understand the problem before speaking.” Majumdar, an academic for more than two decades, has led the 2011 college service commission until 2014.
Sarkar is not available for comments.
HC observations came on the command command justifying why the Applicant Tetung was passed and promised to be given to the candidate below it on the waiting list.
HC requested a commission to regulate the counseling counseling against vacancies immediately, or because of his absence, five jobs in the future are closer to their homes in a month.
