Gurgaon: More than 500 Bhondsi prison inmates shifted from their barracks on Monday, two days after the fight between the rival gang left three injured prisoners.
Harinder Singh’s supervisor prison said many inmates involved in Saturday’s clash had been put under supervision.
“They will not be allowed out of their barracks.
For the safety of prisoners, no one will be allowed to move towards the canteen and open the area without security personnel,” he added.
Bhondsi Police Station Sho Jagbir Singh said around 14-15 inmates were involved in clashes.
“The case has been registered against them and further investigation is underway,” he added.
Members of some feared gangs – namely Kaushal, Kishan, Sandeep Gadoli, Ashok Rathi, Gujjar Binder and Manjeet are expensive – currently nesting in the handle of Bhondsi.
Most of them were arrested in the past two or three years for serious crimes such as murder, efforts to kill and impress them.
Often in the past, they have been involved in clashes and fighting fighting and trying to attack each other in prison.
After the reshuffle of the barracks, prison officials said the gang members who were at odds with each other would not be able to relate to each other.
“Many criminals are feared from various gangs that nest in prison.
The gang leaders die or nest in prisons that are different from Haryana but operate and control their members from their prison.
There are some cases where they take revenge and want revenge,” said A prison official.
