Jaipur: Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot Camp Politicians and the Minister of Youth and Sports Ashok Chandana on Tuesday claimed that some “Jaichands were sold to BJP a year ago” defeating Congress in the Pancrayat poll while staying at the party.
His comments were seen as indirect attacks on the former Deputy Pilot Sachin and his loyalist, one of them, who allegedly played a key role in cross selection in the election of Jaipur Zila Parishad which resulted in the Congress who lost to BJP despite the majority on Monday.
On Monday night Gehlot, also made a veiled attack on the pilot, said that the people responsible for trading with Panchayat polls was the same person who had tried to overthrow the previous state government.
The comment refers to the pilot rebellion on his leadership in July 2020.
Although most of the Congress in the Jaipur Zila Pramukh poll, the dispute began after cross collection and rebellion by two selected Congress members.
