New Delhi: Olympic Gold who made history in his pocket and has won the Commonwealth 2018 game and the title Asian Games, Bintang Javelin Thrower Neeraj Chopra is now targeting the top podium finish in the world athletic championship to be held in the US next year.
The World Championship will be held this year at Eugene, Oregon, in the US but pushed to 2022 after the Tokyo 2020 Olympics was postponed by one year due to Covid-19 pandemic.
Now it will be held from 15-24 July 2022.
“I have won gold in Game Asia and Commonwealth games and now Olympic Gold.
So my next target is to win gold in the World Championship next year,” Chopra said as long as a press conference was arranged by The Indian Athletic Federation (AFI) to facilitate the achievement of the Olympic gold winner.
