Lucknow: Less than a week after humbling it, Bharatiya Janata’s party fired former BSP MLA Jitendra Singh Bablooo on Tuesday.
The peak came in the background of a hard attitude taken by BJP MP member Bahuguna Joshi who demanded the elimination of Singh from the party’s alleged involvement in combustion and set his house in Lucknow on fire in 2009.
Joshi, who woke up with the President’s Congress Committee at the time of the incident To meet with the National President of BJP JP Nadda on August 7 and stated his reservation about the party’s decision to accommodate Jitendra at the party.
BJP President of President Swatantra Dev Singh officially issued Baboooo’s expulsion order on Tuesday night.
Reacting to developments, Yoshi said that he was grateful for the party’s decision to stop Bablooo’s membership.
Experts, however, said that development came as a shame for BJP who had claimed candidate filtering correctly before triggering them into the party.
According to Affidavit, which was submitted by Bablooo in 2017 the assembly selection, he faced 60 criminal cases including murder, dako, abduction and violating peace.
In July 2009, a group of masked men attacked Joshi’s house in Lucknow with an iron rod and then burned it.
The incident occurred after Joshi made unexpected comments on BSP Supremo Mayawati vis-à-vis victims of rape.
Bablooo and other BSP leaders Inezar Abidi were crowned as accused of this case.
On the day joining BJP, Bablooo said that he was framed mistakenly in this case and has demanded a CB-CID investigation.
Bablooo was chosen as BSP MLA from bikapur in Ayodhya in 2007 the assembly selection that saw Mayawati formed a government with an absolute majority for the first time.
Bablooo, however, denied tickets by Mayawati in the 2012 assembly election, after he turned to a peace party.
Even when Mayawati drove it, she was disqualified from the Assembly under the anti-defection law.
Since then, his political fate has been dipped.
