Lucknow: After the Minister of Uttar Pradesh Swami Prasad Maurya resigned from the Yogi Adyityath cabinet, BJP MLA from the constituency of the Fostal Assembly in Banda, Brijesh Kumar Prajapati resigned from the primary membership of the party on Tuesday.
Selection: Swami Prasad Maurya resigned from the Cabinet Yogi, which is expected to join the round of resignation itself sent to the National President of BJP JP Nadda, Prajapati said that the ignorance of the state government of rear caste members, small traders had forced him to make decisions.
Prajapati, herself of the sub-caste Potter in the MBC block, said that she stood in solidarity with Maurya which was a “oppressed voice”.
The 36-year-old legal graduate was chosen for the first time on BJP tickets in the 2017 assembly election.
He also became a member of the Backward State Commission between 2010 and 2012.
