Noida: After more than a month waiting, the Noida private hospital has received the vaccine dose they requested.
The center has improved a 25% vaccine quota for private hospitals on June 21.
While the hospital has met their requirements on the co-win portal and make payments, they only received vaccines earlier this week.
All major private hospitals said they were almost out of stock, despite giving Jab for only a few recipients in the past month.
Private hospitals in the district have sent a total request of 1.5 lakh doses for a month.
Dr.
DK Gupta, Chairperson of the Felix Hospital, “There is almost no motivation for private hospitals to run vaccination camps.
The recipient is also less now.
So, not many hospitals are interested in getting more vaccine doses.
Procedural delays only add to our problems .
“Ajit Kumar, spokesman Sharda Hospital, said,” We have paid and requested 5,000 doses through the previous portal, which was still delayed.
Last week, we applied directly to the company through a portal for 6,000 doses and we got the batch on Monday.
“The Ghaziabad private hospital also requested a dose of 2.35 lakh in mid-June and even the Ministry of Health did not get enough doses so far.
Some hospitals said that the initial request for vaccines was still delayed.
While the number of private centers in Noida is half of the government, their contribution in total vaccination is around 40% like now.
There are around 70 vaccination centers in the district every day, including around 43 governments and 27 are personal.
Of the 38 CVCs that have provided more than 10,000 shots at GB Nagar, only 13 people.
Interestingly, Noida also remains the only main NCR city that still does not have a sputnik vaccine center V.
Delhi neighbors, Gurgaon and Ghaziabad all have at least one center offering Sputnik V.
While the government has not bought a vaccine, private players in Noida say that no Benefits for them in getting a vaccine.
