Ludhiana: After more than a year, active cases in Ludhiana have fallen below 200-marks.
As a state media bulletin, the number of active cases in the district in 197 on Wednesday.
The second lowest count, in that period, on October 26, when the number was 208.
There were 328 active cases on July 1; 306 on July 2; 282 on July 3; 255 on July 4; 223 on July 5; and 210 on July 6 in the previous month, active cases fell from 3,916 on June 1 to 32 on June 30.
The highest number of active cases (3,867) during the first wave was recorded on August 22.
In the second wave, a record 13,217 active case recorded on May 16 “People should not be complacent and follow suitable behavior to wear masks, maintain social distance and hand hygiene,” said the former SMO Dr.
Rajinder Gulati.
