The Congress rose to other Facebook social media platforms to inform about Twitter locking after party accounts.
“When our leaders are imprisoned, we are not afraid of why we are afraid of closing our Twitter account now.
We are Congress, this is a message from people, we will fight, we will continue to struggle.
If it’s a crime to raise our voices to get Justice for girls of rape victims, then we will commit this crime a hundred times.

Reacting to Moving Rohan Gupta, Head of Social Media from all Indian Congress Committee (AICC) said that social media giants have blocked 5,000 accounts of leaders and congressional workers.

AICC spokesman Pranav Jha said the responsibility for this “illegal action” on the Twitter account of the Congress leaders lay with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Government.
