In a command issued by the Magistrate District (DM) Samba, Anuradha Gupta said, “There are reports of several parts J & K about alleged use of drones and flying objects with anti-national elements with the aim of causing damage, injury, and risks for human life And or property and has also been observed that in recent years, there has been a trend between the general public, especially the youth to capture photos and videos at social and cultural meetings using unmanned air vehicles (UAV).
“” Very important in this background that The air space remains free and safe especially near vital installations and thick-populated areas by limiting the use of drones, small flying toys, objects during social, cultural meetings or, so there is no human life and or property threatened, “he said.
In its circumstances, DM Samba said, “Restrictions are imposed on the use of air drone and unmanned air vehicles (UAVs) in the Regency except that all drones operating in Samba Regency need to be registered with the Commissioner’s income assistant, sub-divisional judges, Ghagwal and Vijypur according to the rules and regulations DGCA.

The decision of use, ban, sales and purchases drone was taken after a drone attack on Jammu Air Force Station Jammu on June 27.
Allegedly drone / flying objects were also seen floating in military locations and different defenses in Jammu Dist Rict after this attack for a minimum of four consecutive days.
