BALLARI: Deputy Ballari Commissioner Pavan Kumar Malpati can file a complaint against Amaresh, a Taluru resident in Shiraguppa Taluk, for allegedly threatening it by sending whatsapp messages.
DC accused Amaresh, claiming to be a social worker, had sent him a message accused him of failing to take steps to catch crocodiles in his village.
According to Amaresh, a crocodile was often seen on the outskirts of Taluru Village during the past week.
He urged RFO and Tahsildar to catch crocodiles.
When even after a week, the authorities did not respond, Amaresh told DC, who promised to see this problem.
Amaresh sent a message WhatsApp to Malpati on Monday stated that he would be responsible if someone was injured by the crocodile.
He also stated that he would file pine against DC, Tahsildar and other authorities because they had not started actions even after a week to be informed about the crocodile.
When DC did not respond, Amaresh called him on Tuesday morning.
Meanwhile, the conversation between Malpati and Amaresh became viral on social media.
DC told Amaresh that he could file a complaint against him for sending a threatening message like that.
When contacted, Malpati clarified that he had attended complaints.
It has not been confirmed if the Deputy Commissioner has filed a complaint or not.
