New Delhi: The Joint Parliament Committee (JPC) in the Personal Data Protection Bill adopts a draft report on Monday with at least seven members of the 31-member member committee moving the records differ from various provisions.
The revised offer attracts the controversial parts which are seen to release large technologies with relatively small punishment for violations, even when maintaining the provisions to free government institutions from PurView of the Law.
The panel, led by BJP MP PP Chaudhary, did not recognize recommendations by several members who should not have “uncontrolled power” to free each government institution from PurView of the Privacy Act and this continues to the draft which was finally adopted.
Members who moved different records including the Jairam Ramesh Congress, Manish Tewari, Gaurav Gogoi & TMC Mahua Moitra.
