After the 1.7 billion BCCI fortune, Alyssa Healy hopes for Women’s IPL

Melbourne: Australian Star Cricketer Alyssa Healy hopes that BCCI uses a part of USD 12.7 thousand Nomprek Crore recently to start a complete Indian Premier League (IPL) for women in the near future.
Tycoon India Business Sanjiv Goenka from the RPG Group and International Private Justice Investment Company Irelia Company Pte Limited (CVC Capital) Combined RS 12,715 Crore (around USD 1.7 billion) to win offers for two new IPL teams far exceeded BCCI expectations on Monday .
Aware of this development, Healy told the ‘Australian’ on Thursday, “they (BCCI) have made all the movements and there is still no news about whether they will even play the exhibition game postponed.” They just got USD 2.
billion salary and hopefully some of it will return to women’s cricket and maybe IPL women in the near future.
“…
we want to see it happen, we want to see the world cricket very strong and it’s the next step, for India to wear an event and show the world how good Indian young players.” Equivalent to IPL, the challenge of T20 women three teams, has not occurred since the 2020 edition in the UAE.
This year’s edition of the event did not occur, even as the second half of the IPL was transferred to the UAE because of the Covid-19 case in bio bubbles in India.
“I feel like it has made some known thoughts in the past about the way that has taken place.” From a personal perspective it disappointed them delaying a woman’s exhibition game.
They did everything they could to put the back end of the IPL on (after being abandoned in April) leading into the World Cup and then within one week of the start they have two new men’s IPL teams, “Healy said.
Currently playing in the seventh edition Big Bash League, representing Sydney Sixers, who also has Indian Cricketers Shafali Verma and Radha Yadav.
Besides Shafali and Radha, Poonam Yadav (Striker Adelaide), Mandhana and Deepti Sharma (Sydney Sharma), Richa Ghosh (Hobart Hurricanes), Jemimah Rodrigues And HarmanPreet Kaur (Melbourne Renegades) forms the remaining Indian contingent in WBBL.
“Hopefully, it might start a conversation back in India about Women’s IPL.
I know they will be very happy to see more exhibition games.
“IPL women will be ideal, but only to show off the talents they get.
I just want to see them get as many opportunities as possible,” Healy said.
