Gurgaon: Two police officers at the thug were allegedly attacked by two young men with them arguing at the bar a few minutes before.
One of the accused, the police said, was the son of a police officer posted in Panipat.
Sub-inspector Mohit and Sumit, which was attached to Sushant Lok and Sector Police Station 29, had gone to a bar in sector 29 for a few drinks after their assignment ended on Wednesday night.
Not immediately clear what triggered an argument between the youth and two policemen, but the defendant was suspected of threatening to teach them lessons outside the bar.
Mohit accused that the young men behaved badly with them.
“We tried to calm them down, but they became rude and vowed to teach us a lesson outside,” said Sub-Inspector, as he added that the police did not consider too serious.
Both of them were defendants, however, faced the police when they came out of the bar around 10pm and headed to the parking area.
When they were involved in a heated argument, some police patrolled near him with interference and forcing them to leave.
Mohit and Sumit advanced to their homes at Manbar police line in various cars.
Mohit accused that the two young men began to pursue his car.
“They followed me and honked from the back continuously.
At one point, they tried following my car and stopped.
Feeling the danger, I called Sumit and shared the location directly whatsapp me with him.
But when I turned to Medanta Hospital, they intercepted my car , “said the police.
Mohit was allegedly attacked with a stick.
One of the defendants tried to hit the police in the head, but he ducked and suffered a blow on his face.
At that time, Sumit had reached the place, and he was also attacked with a stick.
One of them allegedly entered the car and tried to run on the sumit.
He fell to the ground and suffered several fractures.
“The duo then escaped from the place.
When I was in my sense, I rushed to Medanta,” Mohit said.
The doctor said Sumit had suffered several fractures while Mohit suffered an injury to the face.
Mohit submitted complaints and pine is registered at the Sector 29 Police Station below 323 (voluntarily causing wounds), 341 (wrong restraints), 506 (criminal intimidation), 337 (causes of injury to anyone by taking such a sheer or negligatory action to endanger human life) and 34 (general intentions) IPC.
“Both were accused of being identified as Krisan (28), whose father was a police officer in Panipat, and Shiv Kumar (29), a resident of Delhi.
They were arrested but were released with guarantees,” said ACP (DLF) Karan Goel.
