Ghaziabad: A total of 120 health workers and government employees have lost their lives for Covid in six Division Meerut districts so far.
In Ghaziabad, four paramedic staff and four government workers have given up on the interim infection of two Medicos and six government employees died in Noida after testing positive.
Meerut has reported the deaths of six Medicos while four health workers died in Bulandshahr.
There is one death like that in Hapur.
But most of the family of health workers and government employees have one thing in common – they are still waiting for compensation from the government.
They say the only thing they get so far is a guarantee of officials.
In Ghaziabad, a family member of one medical staff has received a financial assistance of Rs 50 Lakh so far.
In addition, the death of an employee of the Ministry of Health has not considered under the covid category.
Of the four Medicos who died, one was a doctor posted in the health department as a medical officer.
The other is a staff nurse, a junior assistant and class IV employee.
Sources said the son Dr.
Poonam was given a government job, but the family had not received the help of Rs 50 Lakh.
Dayashankar, Class IV employees at the MMG District Hospital, posted in Ward Isolation.
He signed Covid and died at the hospital in Noida.
The Dayashankar family has received work and financial assistance.
Rajendra, a junior assistant at Loni’s public health center, also died after positive testing.
But the Ministry of Health did not consider his death while serving Covid.
However, Rajendra’s wife was given a job in its place.
Sonam, a nurse staff who worked with the TB department, also died while in charge of Covid.
His family hasn’t got a job or grant.
Dr.
RK Gupta, District Supervision Officer, said, “All reports have been sent to the government.
In some cases, government work and financial assistance have been given.
In other cases, the process takes place.
They will soon be processed.” In Noida, the family of two Paramedic workers have received 50 lakh RS compensation.
