MediaTek has announced a new chipset at a joint event announcing that Oppo will come.
Phone X4 and Redmi K50 will be powered by the media almost a month after announcing the latest and most powerful SOC, MediaTek has tempt the new chip, 8000 dimensity at a press conference.
The new chip of the company will be an affordable alternative to the dimensity of MediaTek 9000.
At the event, the company only revealed the name of the chip and mentioned that it was not ready to reveal other details about the chip like now.
However, rumors Mill has revealed that the chip will use a process of 5NM TSMC which is longer than the latest 4nm process.
The 5NM chip will still offer better performance and efficiency compared to the dimensity of 1000 chip series based on the 6nm process.
As far as regarding other chip specifications, dimensity 8000 is expected to use a longer ARMV8 design which includes 4 x Cores Cortex-A78 cores at 2.75GHz and four Cortex A55 cores are low at 2GHz.
It would be better if the company will choose the latest score, but a little detuned – A710 and A510 – like dimensity 9000.
In the case of GPU, the chip is expected to display the latest Mali-G510 MC6 CPU that claims to offer better performance and more efficiency than the previous generation GPU .
Apart from it, the chip can handle up to 168Hz is displayed at 1080p resolution and 1440 is displayed at 120Hz.
It also supports LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.
Smartphone with the dimensity of 8000 chips is expected to pass next year.
