New Delhi: Since Mega’s expansion last week from the Council of the Minister of Interim the Ministries struggled to create space to accommodate more million US ministers (MOS), new ministers also tried to get better accommodation.
Sources say new participants in the cabinet, Pashupati Kumar Paras did not want to shift to 12 Janpath where his brother Ram Vilas Rugwan lived for almost three decades and one minister wanted to return to the bungalow where he lived early.
Both the cabinet and other ministers are entitled to get bigger accommodations considering their needs.
The number of ministers in the Government of Narendra Modi has increased to 77 out of 53 not including PM.
The source said while it was a big challenge to find adequate accommodation for newcomers, great assistance limited three of the alliance parties, the rest came from BJP itself.
Bungalow allotment, which is now in work, will only submit to them emptied by several parliamentarians who have been dropped from the ministerial council, said the source.
At present, nearly 3-4 bungalows are empty and therefore this will not be enough to accommodate new ministers.
“But because they come from the same party, they can coordinate between themselves to find a way out.
Ideally, the former minister who is now not entitled to keep a large bungalow to empty the newly appointed minister,” said a source.
Toi has studied that Paras, who recently stated himself as the successor of Pastrophas, did not want to take the Bungalow 12 Janpath considering this could send poor political messages to LJP voters.
At present, the wife and Chirag Paswan lived in the bungalow since the death of the LJP founder.
Pashwan’s followers have mentioned this address as a melting point for Dalit leaders considering that leaders who were late were used to hold Dalit MPS meetings from various political parties in this house.
