PATIALA: The day after police Ropar posted more than 50 farmers, including union and sarpanch village leaders under various parts of the IPC for allegedly attacking Congress workers and trying to stop Charanjit Singh Chanhi’s leader and Navjot Singh Sidhu in Chamkaur Sahib, a number of farmers on Monday Hold a 3-hour protest against Sidhu and Channi.

In his tweet, he said that they (he and his party leaders and workers) faced his life-threatening attack when he left Gurdwara in Chamkaur Sahib after the police himself had registered the case.
He did not say that he and his party workers also did not provide a written complaint to the police and even they did not want actions against the attackers, therefore FIR must be canceled.
SSP Ropar, Akhil Chaudhary said, “We have not received a written complaint from the Congress leader.
There is no political pressure on us.
This case was registered by a police officer because the protesters had disturbed traffic.”
