The final decision will be taken by the Ministry of Finance where doctors will soon meet the State Minister of Finance Ajit Pawar.
Saying that the neglect of costs is not only financial demand for resident doctors, Dr.
Dnyaneshwar Dhobale Patil, President Committee of the Association Center of Maharashtra Doctor Resident (Mard), said that they truly sacrificed their academic year for Covid services.
“When government hospitals and medical colleges are full of covid patients, anyone from us who almost have the opportunity to learn the super-specialties we have received,” he said.
When the teachers and head of their department were also busy in Covid’s work, students post this graduation passed their classes, training in the workplace and practical work experience of their super specialties.
With the third wave it has been projected, residents are eyeing another year of academic losses.
Dr.
Dhobale Patil said that the resident doctor is ready to work even in the third wave projected and “one year of study can be removed because of that”.
“We demand that the state government must release costs for 2020 and 2021,” he said.
Deshmukh assured them that the government was positive about their demands.
“Considering the dedication and hard work of resident doctors in the first and second pandemic wave, I convinced them that the government was positive about freeing their costs and agreed to additional benefits to appreciate their work,” Dishmukh said.
As a sanction fund for the above demands is the prerogative of the Ministry of Finance, the Mard Central Committee official now seeks to appoint the ajit of the pawar.
“We will meet the pawar soon.
We hope our efforts will get recognition because,” said Deputy President Mard, Dr.
Pranav Jadhav.
The population doctor is considered the backbone of a government and medical college hospital.
During a pandemic, a young doctor, the doctors were the frontline covid soldier.
They split and given to their services.
However, the demand for long-delayed salary revisions, incentives for Covid services and neglect of costs has not been considered by the state government.
The Chairperson of Dmer In-Charge has been given the responsibility to present a proposal for the approval of the Ministry of Finance.
