After two and a half months, the Dist recorded no Covid death

Coimbatore: After two and a half months, the district recorded zero death from Covid-19 on Monday.
The last dating district recorded no death due to the virus on April 23, when the second wave began to record around 900 cases a day.
The death toll for 80 days has soared three times from 710 to 2,107.
The district recorded 290 fresh Covid-19 cases on Monday, taking the total number of cases to 2.25,334.
With an active amount, the number of people who active cases fall to 3,905.
The total number of people recovered rose to 2,19,322, the recovery rate grew further to 97.3%.
Although the daily case curve is almost average, 292 people continue to be in the ICU Care and 249 who need oxygen beds in the district.
When vaccination rush continues in the city and rural areas, the district’s inoculation drive is expected to have received a new one.
Encourage with the district that receives 24,000 vaccine doses on Saturday.
“All vaccine doses have been distributed to the company,” said Deputy Director of Public Health.
A total of 11,995 doses were given on Monday.
The district has 25,000 other doses.

Over the past week, 41.19% of the case came from the Civic body.
In rural areas, the Karamadai block contributed 9.67%, Thudiary 7.58% and 6.69% tendrils.
There are times when tendrils accounts for more than 9% of cases due to industrial clusters.
