Nagpur: A hospital project that has a threat to more than 60 large trees in Trimurti Nagar has been given back to a private company – Hospital Multicare Zest Private Ltd.

The company, which failed to do anything for three years, even entered a blacklist after the seracity of earnest money from 80 lakh Rs.

On Sunday, TOI has reported that NIT took measurement and demarcation of land located between the Macaraj Mandir and Shankar Saoji haze for handing it to the company for the development of the hospital.
This land consists of more than 60 old trees where some are transplanted in 2001.
Chairman of Nit Manoj Kumar Suryawanshi issued orders on September 6 for the Supervisory Board to take notes and implementation as well.
In order, Nit has stopped the tender where the company was selected as a successful bidder.
On January 15, 2018, Chairman Nit also lost EMD 80 lakh Rs company.
It also made a company blacklist and stopped the tender.
Then, nit issued a fresh tender.
The company has submitted a petition in the Nagpur bench of the Bombay High Court who lived Nit’s decision to go for fresh tenders on August 31, 2018.
The company, on May 25, 2021, submitted a letter with NIT.
“The applicant made an offer to end the deadlock with the progress of the project and also to resolve problems peacefully.

The NIT chair cites the order of HC to consider the company’s request.
In the order of April 19, HC has directed government institutions to facilitate land to a private hospital for the construction of oxygen plants.
