Guwahati: Gas Company Assam Run State Ltd.
(AGCL) on Thursday signed an agreement with oil and Cairn gas to buy a cubic meter of lakh standards per day (SCMD) natural gas to distribute it in the state.
“In this agreement, AGCL will ensure the purchase of gas rich 1 lakh SCMD from the field of Hazarigaon Cairn,” said the two companies in a shared statement.
The two companies signed an agreement here in Guwahati for gas sales in front of the Assam and Commerceminister Chandra Mohan Patowary industry.
CEO of Deputy Oil & CEO CEO of CEO Prachur’s valid said, “We are happy with this new development in Assam and looking forward to our partnership with AGCL to power the country’s critical tea industry in addition to supporting the country’s main sectors.” The AGCL Gokul Chandra Swargiyari Managing Director said that relations with private oil companies would increase energy access in Assam and improve many countries, especially large tea areas.
