Patna: The action will be taken against agents that do not repair the road after exploring it to put the pipelines or other works, Deputy Minister of Tarkishore Prasad said in the legislative council on the third day of the Monsun session on Wednesday.
Prasad, who also held an urban development portfolio and housing department, reply to the question starring BJP MLC Sanjay Prakay aka Sanjay Mayukh regarding the problem of airlogging in all district headquarters and in Patna.
Prasad said the construction of a storm water drainage system was underway to overcome the water situation in Patna and other urban areas.
He said this year’s stress was cleaning up waterways and that was why rainwater from the way out quickly.
Prasad further said places faced by waterlogging had been identified and sewers would be made based on the priority under the program ‘when Nischay’.
Prasad further said he had reviewed and monitored the problems of water and houses to be made even at night to drain water.
However, Congress MLC Prem Chandra Mishra was interrupted and asked the government to provide tentative time to resolve the problem.
“Over the past 13 years, medium drains surveys are carried out and meetings are held.
Just say when problems will be resolved,” Ask Mishra.
JD (U) MLC Lallan Kumar Sarraf raises the problem of electricity waste due to high street lights, which remains even during the day.
Other MLC, including Nawal Kishore Yadav and Kedar Nath Pandey, also saved the Sarraf and asked the state government to immediately solve this problem.
RJD RAM Chandra Purbey raised the problems faced by people living in slums.
Purbey said there were 110 slums in Patna and the people who lived there lacked basic facilities such as Pucca, drinking water, toilets, medical facilities and education for their children.
He asked the minister to complete the right study in such an area and prepared the appropriate plan.
Prasad agreed and said he would get a survey of such areas carried out by agency.
Arjun Sahni raised the GI tag problem to be given to Makhana (Fox Nots).
Agriculture Minister Amrendra Prasad Singh said the government tried to get a GI tag for Mithila Makhana and soon this would be achieved.
