Noida: Working on the installation of the supervision system in more than half a dozen crossing traffic in Noida is expected to begin soon.
The agency issued by the Noida Authority has submitted a perception report after surveying the location where the camera must be installed.
Due to Covid restrictions and curfews, the implementation of the integrated traffic management system is interrupted briefly.
Officials involved with the project said that the report included aspects such as the relationship and accessibility of pathways with roads, traffic volume and estimation of vehicle speeds moving among a series of crossings, pedestrian movements, among other factors.
This project is worth around Rs 64.5 Crore and will cover 84 crossings at all.
A total of 1,065 cameras will be installed and connected to the control room in the 94 sector.
Deputy General Manager, Cell Traffic Noida, SC Mishra said, “The agency studies volume and crossing traffic that is busy and not busy.
It will start working once we get permission from Senior official.
“The authority wants to examine the project pilot experiments.
